The Sharks have undergone an enormous change over the past several seasons, redirecting the focus of the club and creating a strong sense of team unity in a sport that is traditionally individual based. Since 2009 the Sharks have amassed a record of 16-3, a State Championship, a victory in both the JCC All Star and JCC Silver Meet, broken over 65 team records, and have had numerous NJ Swimming Gold and Silver Cut Times, as well as started a Summer Swim Camp here at the Bergen County Y, a JCC. Looking forward the Sharks will be making some changes to the Pre-Competition Program to include an additional day and add more time as well as looking into the prospects of starting a second Team. We will also be adding additional Summer Swim Camps for 2012 and have expanded are Spring Training Program for 2012. The Sharks will also be looking to take their team to the next level with the completion of their application to USA Swimming shortly coming. Finally, are having our first Touch Pad and Timing System installed! |
